Are the dogs monitored at all times?

Yes, we never leave any of the dogs unattended. Dogs, much like children need supervision, love and affection.

How big is your facility?

We have 4200 square feet of indoor space and 1200 square feet of outdoor space.

Where do the dogs go to the bathroom?

We take the dogs to the outdoor "potty" area in their play groups every 30 to 45 minutes. We encourage all dogs to go "potty" outside. We also assist puppies with house breaking by taking them out as often as possible.

Can I come in for a tour?

Yes, we do not require appointments for tours. Feel free to stop in any time to see our facility. Please note that our busy times are 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. We will still be able to provide a tour during these times, how ever you may need to wait a few moments if there are dogs being dropped off or picked up.

Do I need to book an appointment for my dog to attend daycare?

Absolutely not. We are a drop off service. Feel free to bring your dog in anytime. No need to call ahead. We do ask that you let us know if your bringing your dog in for their first visit free, click here to see more details about this offer.

Do you crate or kennel dogs throughout the day?

No, we believe that crating or kenneling dogs throught the day can cause stress and anxiety for the dogs being crated or kenneled. Other daycares in Calgary suggest that your dog needs a "nap time", we feel this in unnecessary as dogs will nap and break when they feel they need to. Also, you are paying for dog daycare and that is what we provide, as you can crate or kennel your dog at you home for free.

Why do you have kennels in your facility?

We have kennels in order to separte dogs for feeding times (ie. breakfast, lunch or supper) the dogs are only placed in kennels to eat and then returned to their play groups. We also use then kennels for administering medicine and for dogs that are here for grooming services only. We have had requests from owners to have their dog kenneled throught the day for medical reasons such as heart conditions or hip, knee or shoulder issues.

What are the daycare hours?

What are your daycare costs?

What do the dogs do all day?

We have many activities that we do with the dogs throughout the day such as but not limited to; laser light chasing, bubble catching, outdoor water hose play and outdoor doggie pool play. The staff also physically play, interact and provide attention and affection to the dogs. And of course the dogs play with each other (with staff monitoring).

What do you clean your facility with?

We use and environmentally safe, pet friendly cleaner/disinfectant/deoderizer that we purchase from a pet supply whole saler here in Calgary. This cleaner has no scent to ensure not to affect the powerfull sense of smell that dogs have. We use this cleaner inside and outside.

Why don't you have real grass in the out door "potty" area?

Real grass can not be cleaned or disinfected and would die and turn to mud very quickly. So for the dogs that don't like to do their "business" on the payment we have installed a 100 square foot "sod box", except in stead of sod we have a pet freindly artificial turf that we clean and disinfect everyday. The turf has a built in drainage system that allows urine to drain out the bottom as well as cleaner and fecal reminance.
