Our Exceptional Team

Carol Jean-Mosco
Co-Owner & Alpha Pack Leader
Carol has grown up with various pets and animals, with a strong passion for dogs. She lived in Lethbridge for the past 28 years and helped founded the volunteer program to visit the hospital with our "therapy dogs". Carol has also completed the Pet First Aid and Pet Sitting course. Currently Carol enjoys the company of Tess, the sofest beagle ever and Spike her cockatiel. You can usually find Tess cuddled up in a chair at the daycare, and during the warmer months Spike joins us for a day every now and then. "I had a dream of opening a dog daycare 7 years ago, living in Calgary my dream has finally come true. I could not imagine doing anything else."

Louise Challes
Co-Owner & Alpha Pack Leader
Louise has always been passionate about dogs and has been a responsible dog owner since she was 10. She's owned many breeds; from small to large and in-between; from Alberta special breeds to pure breeds. She's participated in many levels of dog training and obedience. Louise will always be a dog owner and looks forward to meeting many wonderful dogs (and their owners) through the daycare. Louise's favourite dog trait is the simple fact that they love you no matter what. Right now Louise owns a mini-Australian shepherd named Jet who is a loveable little guy. He's a little quirky, but she loves him anyway!

Phoenix Tessier
Co-Owner & Alpha Pack Leader
Phoenix, daughter of Louise and neice of Carol; has been around dogs her entire life. She has had a passion for dogs and all animals for as long as she could remember. She has proudly owned and cared for a variety of different breeds; everything from an Alberta Special, Border Collie to Rottweilers and currently B.B. her Olde English Bulldog.
Phoenix, mom to her 1 year old son, Cashus (the future dog whisperer),is already showing Cashus the ropes. Cashus joins her everyday at the daycare to share in her passion for dogs.
"Now, owning and working at the daycare for almost a year, I couldn't imagine any other career as satisfying as working with dogs. This truely is a dream come true, to work with dogs and have the ability to care for my son during the day. It would be an awful day if I came home from a job where I didn't get covered in dog hair and slobber, I just love it!"

Egypt Gordica
Pack Leader/Dog Groomer
We are proud to have Egypt with all of her experience join our team in October 2010. Egypt has been working in the doggy daycare industry for over five years. During this time she has learned that
working with dogs and animals is her passion. She has also picked up many useful skills such as 3 years hands on experience grooming, dog behavior, and pet first aid certification.
Egypt has competed in agility with her 5 year old Border Collie cross, Sambuca. She has won a qualifying title in the starters class and hopes to keep challenging herself as well as Sambuca in the
future.
All in all, Egypt loves working with each and every dog and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Gabrielle Fera
Pack Leader
Gabrielle has been an asset to our team since April 2010. "As a new mother to my son Quinton, I have the amazing opportunity to work at Dog People Dog Daycare Inc. Not only am I able to work a great job, I am also able to bring my son, Quinton, and my weimaraner Titan with me. It's not everyday that a new mom gets an opportunity like this, so I consider myself to be very lucky. Everyday brings a new adventure with the dogs and the kids. I have never met so many amazing dogs and can't imagine my life without those furry little mosters."

Amanda Accardo
Pack Leader
Amanda has been a valued member of our team since May 2010. She is the only employee to date who has never owned a dog. Amanda has always wanted a dog, unfortunately living situations have not allowed Amanda to have a dog of her own. Working for Dog People Dog Daycare Inc. is the next best thing for Amanda as she gets her fill of doggy love everyday.
Amanda is mom to her 3 year old daughter, Dilynn, who sometimes joins Amanda at the daycare to enjoy in some playtime with the puppies.
"This is the best job I have ever had. I love the people I work with and the environment. I get to play with dogs and puppies all day and get paid for it."

Mariah Luchsinger
Pack Leader
Mariah joined the Dog People team February 14, 2011. She has been lucky to have dogs as a part of her life since she was young. A miniature schnauzer, irish wolfhound mix, and now a cocker spaniel and border collie mix have all contributed to her knowledge and experience. Her cocker spaniel Willow has benefitted so much from the socialization she gets at daycare, both with dogs, children, and people. Mariah loves working at Dog People Dog Daycare, "it is amazing to connect with so many dogs and their owners everyday. No matter how crazy the dogs get, or how crazy the messes they make get, no other job could compare."
